ENCINO - Joel Kabaker is the Managing Director for the Encino office of Northwestern Mutual. Joel joined Northwestern in 1991 after a career in international investment banking. Along with his partners Jerry Simon and Michael Altman they specialize in the advanced planning markets of estate and business planning. Joel was educated at Stanford University and completed his MBA at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem Israel. He has also completed the advanced degrees of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) from the American College. Joel resides in Studio City, California with his wife Leah. They are the proud parents of three children, a daughter in law and a grandchild.

 

Robert G Dibley, CLU®, ChFC®, CASL

SANTA BARBARA - Robert Dibley was appointed Managing Director for our office in Santa Barbara, California in 2006. Robert first started his professional career with the British Army and in 1988 retired as a Major for the Royal Army service in Northern Ireland, Cyprus, Germany, Nepal and the Falkland Islands. His experience in the Army gave him knowledge in accounting expertise, as well as computer programming, which has helped him immensely in his career with Northwestern Mutual. Robert has been a Financial Representative with Northwestern Mutual since 1989, and specializes in Personal Life Insurance, Disability Income Insurance, Long-Term Care Insurance, Fixed and Variable Annuities, Retirement Solutions, and Wealth Accumulation. He has been recognized by Northwestern Mutual many times winning the National Quality Award 1992-2000, 2002-2006, A Million Dollar Round Table Qualifying Member for 15 years, and a Life Member 1992-2006. He is a part of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and has been a huge asset to The Beer Financial Group by taking on a leadership role. Robert currently resides in Santa Barbara with his wife Mary.

Tony Congdon

BAKERSFIELD- Tony Congdon’s career with Northwestern Mutual began in February of 2005, when he was referred to the company by another Financial Representative of The Beer Financial Group, Paul Sheldon. Success as a Financial Representative came quickly for Tony, and his decision to join Northwetsern Mutual seemed to be a perfect fit for a long term career. Tony began the management track as a College Unit Director, where he was responsible for working with College Financial Represntatives in the intership program and teaching them how to become successful in the career as well. After accomplishing the task of managing his own career and guiding the younger Financial Representatives, Tony was appointed the Managing Director of the Bakersfield office. Tony has been an astounding Financial Representative for his clients and his work has been recognized by Northwestern Muutal and honored with numerous awards. He was third in Disability Sales for all Representatives in Western United States, third in the company in the entire United States, and was in TIME magazine as a leading Representative for 2006 and 2007. He currently resides in Bakersfield with his wife Jennifer and his five children.
